Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Atalias, which runs iCritiq. By using iCritiq you agree to them, to our community guidelines, and to how we handle information as described in our privacy policy.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use iCritiq.
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to it to yourself: whoever can read your email can sign in as you.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension or ban.
What you post
- You own what you post. So that iCritiq can work, you give us permission to store, copy, resize, convert, display and send it to other members within iCritiq (for example, to make your videos play smoothly on phones). This permission ends when you delete the post or your account, except for copies we're required to keep.
- You're responsible for what you post. Only post things you have the right to share, and that follow our community guidelines.
- If you appear in or record a video review, make sure everyone in it is happy to be shown.
Moderation
We check posts automatically and review what's reported. We may decline to post, or remove, anything that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and we may warn, suspend or ban accounts. We'll usually tell you why. If you think we've made a mistake, email support@atalias.com.
Book information
Book details and covers come from Open Library and may be incomplete or wrong. Ratings and reviews are members' opinions, not ours.
Leaving iCritiq
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on the account deletion page. If your account has been banned, email us from its address and we'll delete it. The email address of a suspended or banned account can't be used to sign up again until the suspension ends, or ever after a ban (see the privacy policy). We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
The service
We work to keep iCritiq running well, but we provide it as it is, and it may change, have interruptions, or stop. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of iCritiq. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that can't be limited by agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using iCritiq after that, the new terms apply.
