Signing in

Type your email address in the app and we'll email you a six-digit code, which works for 10 minutes.

If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam or junk folder, and that the address is spelled right. You can ask for a new code once a minute, up to five an hour.

Your profile

On your profile, tap Edit profile to change your name, handle, bio, photo, favorite genres and your forever four.

Who can message you

On your profile, tap the settings button at the top right. Under Messages, choose Everyone, Following or Nobody. With Everyone, first messages from readers you don't follow wait in Requests until you accept them.

Reporting and blocking

Report a review, reply, reader, club or club post from its ⋯ menu; our moderators look at every report. Block a reader from the ⋯ menu on their profile: you won't see each other's profiles or posts, and they can't message you. Settings → Blocked readers lists who you've blocked.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Without the app, use the account deletion page. The privacy policy says what's deleted.

Book details

Book details and covers come from Open Library. If something's wrong, you can correct it there, and the fix reaches iCritiq when we next update our copy of the catalog.

Your information

What we collect, who can see it, and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy. To ask for a copy of your information, email us.
